Success Story
Ms Ruth (not her real name) is the 7th of 34 children born to a family in the Biu area of Borno State Nigeria. She got married at the age of 18 years and had a daughter. She unfortunately lost her husband in March of 2004. She could only stay 6 months in the husband’s family house and had to go back to live with her parents. She had a lot of difficulty because she was religiously independent and that was not acceptable, and she had to move to Kaduna in 2006 where she tried different small businesses without any success…

We aim to empower, equip and enhance people’s ability to progress and move forward in life. We will like to see empowered widows that are able to take care of their Children’s education, health and well being. We believe that when a woman is empowered, the family is directly empowered.

Our Mission
We harness every global and legitimate avenue to raise funds that help establish small businesses for our target population. Instead of handouts, we empower individuals to be self-sufficient and to “give forward,” equipping others in need.
